Diving & Water Sports

Divers with Flashlight

Barbados is one of the best places in the Caribbean for your annual holiday if you love diving. There are a huge number of sites dotted around the coast where you can explore the impressive reefs, beautiful marine life and a number of wrecks that lay beneath the surface - such as the SS Stavronikita.

If diving isn't your thing, there are plenty of other water based activities you can take part in. Turn your hand to surfing or bodyboarding, snorkelling or kayaking. Why not try fishing or you can even swim with the turtles. The underwater sea life is just stunning.

Harrison's Cave

Harrison’s Cave sits right in the heart of the island. The cave has been formed through water erosion of the limestone rock. It is believed to be dated as far back as the 1790s and was rediscovered in the 1970s. Harrison’s Cave can be explored on foot, by tram or by following in the footsteps of previous explorers.
